~ STUDENT MINISTRY ~
youth "ASYLUM" is the Senior High Ministry of Lighthouse Community Church. Students grades 9-12 meet on Wedenesday nights at 7:30 PM for Bible study, great music, and connecting with God and each other. The goal at Asylum is to develop young leaders who can impact the next generation in positive ways! Asylum students also get the opportunity to participate in short term mission projects.

"ALIEN YOUTH" is the Middle School Ministry of Lighthouse Community Church. Students grades 6-8 meet on Sunday nights from 6:30 - 8 PM for games, loud music, and great Bible study. Alien Youth students also get to put what they learn into practice on short term mission projects. If your Middle Schooler is looking for a place to hang out, make great friends, and learn something about God - THIS is the Place!

"HIGH SCHOOL BOYS & GIRLS ACCOUNTABLILITY GROUPS" (Wednesdays @ 6:30 pm for Girls, 7:00 pm for Boys): Teens hold each other accountable through daily struggles and temptations. These are awesome sessions that allow the students to talk about deep issues in a trusting environment without the fear of rejection or exposure.

  • [2012.03.16 - 2012.03.17] - GAMEDAY - Dare2Share - At GameDay, your students will face the reality and the urgency of the "competition" they are a part of everyday in the grand Kingdom conflict for the souls of their friends. The event is limited to students 7th - 12th grade. This is an outreach event so bring friends. Go to the GAMEDAY Website for information on the event. $20 deposit due Feb 14th.   • [2012.03.30 - 2012.04.01] - YOUNG CHRISTIANS WEEKEND (YCW) - Silver Dollar City - The Afters, Chris August, Sidewalk Prophets , and much more... Students 6th through 12th grade are invited to attend this three day event. Join thousands of youth from across the nation during the Midwest's Premier Christian Youth Event! Get ready for stellar concerts, messages to feed the soul and awesome worship services. Rock out and roll on coasters for TWO STRAIGHT DAYS at Silver Dollar City!   • [2012.05.04 - 2012.05.05] - AGAPEFEST 2012 - This is an awesome two day event at Greenville College. Thousands of students come together during this event to worship and hear the Gospel from some spectacular speakers and bands. You must be in 8th - 12th grade to attend.   • [2012.07.13 - 2012.07.20] - PROJECT ST. LOUIS - This is a eight day mission trip to St. Louis to put on a Vacation Bible School at inner city churches. The event is limited to students 7th - 12th grade. More information will be posted as it comes available.   • [Throughout the School Year] - MAKE CHRIST FAMOUS! - O.K., so you're at school, how are you going to act??? Are you going to put JESUS on the back burner so you can spend time with your friends? DON'T DO IT. If you value your friends, then do the greatest thing you can possibly do for them... SHARE THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST.
